When the coronavirus put paid to our Easter Camp planning last month, we asked our Galway United Academy coach Xavi Vazquez to put a programme together so that our player's could have their own Easter Camp at home instead. The U18A boys beat Oughterard 4-3 on penalties last Sunday after both teams had played out a 5-5 extra time thriller in Oughterard. With Craughwell only fielding nine players, the home side scored in the first minute after a well worked free kick. The Craughwell United U16 boys (pictured) advanced to the last sixteen of the Connacht Cup with a 3-1 win over Sligo side Arrow Harps last Sunday at Coleman Park. Jerry Boyle scored twice while Cathal Kelly got the third before a late second half reply by the away side.
