The Junior side stretched their winning run to 4 games with a 1-0 win over Knocknacarra at Coleman Park on Sunday morning. Cian Garman set up Kevin Molloy for the opening goal midway in the first half. Ari deSouza Neves made a great penalty save at the start of the second half and an impressive defensive performance saw them hold on to claim the 3 points. United keep their spot joint top of the Championship table for now.

The under 14 boys had a comprehensive 5-1 win against the Mervue B team on Saturday afternoon at Coleman Park. In a superb team performance, Tom Malone bagged four goals, with Eoin Middleton crowning off a great win with a superb fifth.



The under 12 boy's Navy and Blue squads were in action. Navy had a 2-3 win away to Kinvara.  Cathal Osbourne and Thomas Glennon scored the first two goals. After Kinvara had drawn level Craughwell piled on the pressure with Adam Melia hitting a shot from outside the box into the top corner. The Maroon squad had a comfortable home win over Corrib Rangers including hat-tricks from both Ethan Beattie and Cian Kelly.

The U12 Girls secured a great win in their first league match of the season, winning 4-0 against Corrib Rangers at Coleman Park on Sunday. Scorers for Craughwell were Grace McGlynn, Isabelle Behan, and two from Niamh Keaveney. Special mention for one of our players, Sophie Meehan, who played the first half of the match, and then competed in a cross country athletics competition, finishing second. Also on Sunday, the U17 girls suffered defeat at home to Oughterard.
