The new season kicked off last Saturday with our Junior Men’s team losing 6-3 away to Corrib Celtic B. Colin Rooney and Sean Gallagher (2) scored the United goals. 

On Sunday, the U17 boys were also in Annaghdown against Corrib Celtic in their Premier League opener. Craughwell started brightly when a Mark Cunningham free kick found Alan Callanan on the edge of the box to half volley home over the keeper. United doubled their first half lead when Eoin Fahy ran on to a Jack Lally precision pass to score clinically in the bottom corner. However, the home side rallied well in the second half and sustained pressure from Celtic yielded two goals, leaving the final score at 2-2.
