Club results from weekend of 8-9 November   10/11/2014

The U18A boys had a great 3-1 win away to Moyne Villa last Saturday evening in Headford.  Aaron Brereton score a fantastic first goal, a bicycle kick from the right hand side of the box that went into the top left hand corner, Eric Callinan capitalised on the Villa keeper’s fumble for the second and Darragh Gilligan netted the third goal to round off an impressive team performance. United are now top of the Premiership table after four games.

The U18B boys (pictured) played their best match this season when sharing the points in a twelve goal thriller away to Corofin United. It was a very tough game from the start with the home side taking an early lead but Craughwell fought hard to take the half time lead. The second half yielded nine goals with both sides battling full on for the entire ninety minutes. United’s scorers were Cole Connolly, Ian Connolly and John Dolan, all with two goals a piece.

The U14 boys lost 3-1 at home to strong Premiership side Maree/Oranmore in round three of the SFAI Cup with Joseph Jackson getting the United goal. The U13 boys were 2-0 winners away to Maree/Oranmore in their Premiership encounter with both goals coming from man of the match Ciaran Connaughton  while the U15 boys lost 6-2 away to Moyne Villa on Friday evening . The U12A boys maintained their position at the top of the Championship League table with a 2-0 home win over Corofin United. Sam Finnerty and Lewis Ryan got the first half goals which proved crucial.
