Craughwell’s U12A team were held 1-1 by Bearna Na Forbacha last Saturday morning in Coleman Park. Sean Joyce had put United ahead in the second half but the away side hit back for a deserved equaliser. 

The U14 boys were next up against Renmore and ran out 3-2 winners after a tremendous battle. Darragh O'Connor (pen), Vincent Boyle (pictured) and Joseph Jackson got the United goals to seal the win. 

On Sunday afternoon, the U16 boys drew 1-1 against Moyne Villa in their Championship league match. Played in glorious sunshine at Coleman Park, Jack Lally put United ahead after twenty minutes when his deflected strike found the target, but sustained pressure by the home side yielded no more goals in the first half. Villa started the second half in determined fashion and were rewarded when a free kick was initially saved but then headed in for the equaliser. Ronan Nevin and Jack Lally had several strikes just missing the target as United searched for the winner but it took a fantastic save by home keeper Alan Callanan at the death to keep the final score at 1-1.
