U17s reach Cup Final with 6-0 win over Kilshanvey United   22/04/2014

Craughwell began this semi-final at home to Kilshanvey without regular keeper Eoin Lally (sickness) and key striker Gavin O'Toole (ear injury). However, they started brightly, missing a few early chances until Josh MacFarlane played a one-two with Dara Cunney before slipping past two defenders and burying the ball to the net. Just minutes later, a free kick was knocked over by Dara Cunney, finding Shane Donnellan who was fouled outside the area. Shane stood up himself and put the ball right into the top corner with a fantastic strike. With Craughwell piling on the pressure, Dylan Morgan worked himself free and pounded the ball into the bottom corner from just inside the area to put Craughwell three up at the break.
Starting the second half, stand in goalkeeper Daragh Gilligan swapped with Cillian McDaid and proceeded to score two brilliant goals. Craughwell were comfortably on top at this stage and brought on their remaining subs with Tomas Mongan scoring from a tight angle to leave the final score at 6-0.

The team were then presented with their league winning medals and cup after the game by Galway FA committee member Pat McCann.
