Andrea has been a real asset for the U17 team this year, showing immense strength and determination.  She is a commanding central midfielder and controls this position beautifully. Against Salthill Devon, Andrea showed a huge drive to compete in the midfield battle even though the strong city side eventually won well on the day. Andrea then played as stand-in goalkeeper against Corrib Rangers because of a leg injury. It's fair to say we didn't play at our best that day and Rangers had numerous chances to equalise but thanks to some heroic goalkeeping, Craughwell held on for a 2-1 win.

Andrea also played for the Galway team that defeated Mayo in March and received special mention from the coaching staff for her hard work.
