The U12 boys (pictured) had a fine 3-2 comeback win over Dunmore Town last Saturday evening at Coleman Park. Dunmore took a two goal lead into the break but Craughwell responded very well in the second half. Two goals from Edward Donoghue brought the sides level before Darragh O Donnell scored a very late winner to win a very entertaining cup match. Earlier in the day, the U12 Boys navy squad had a 3-0 home league win over Merlin Woods. Also on Saturday the U14 boys were defeated 3-0 away to a top quality Westport United team in the Connacht Cup but will be very encouraged by an excellent performance.

The junior men's side recorded their second Championship league win with a 2-0 away win over Merlin Woods last Sunday morning. Craughwell made a fast start when Cillian Dolan squared a lovely cross for Eoin Fahy to slot home. Twenty minutes later Mark Cunningham played in Darragh Barry who lobbed the keeper for a fine finish. Merlin fought hard for the remainder of the game but United held firm for the clean sheet. The U18 boys also secured a second league win with a 5-1 home win over Colga B. The away side deservedly took the lead in the first half before Craughwell slowly started to find their form. Two goals from midfielder Conor Gilligan, an Alex Duggan penalty plus goals from Sean Mulry and Liam McDaid secured the three points.
