The U18 boys advanced the Connacht Shield semi-finals after a 2-0 away win over Kinvara United last Sunday afternoon. Matthew Faherty (pictured) put in a huge shift up front and duly opened the scoring in the first half while Liam Mulveen doubled Craughwell's tally in the second half to seal the win. The junior men's side made it two wins in a row with a hard fought 1-0 away win over Cois Fharraige in Carraroe. Striker Cillian Dolan hit a sweet strike into the top right corner on fifteen minutes and United defended resolutely in the warm conditions to take the three points.

The U12A and U12B Boys had convincing wins over Galway Hibs and Salthill Devon B respectively while the U17 girls created plenty of chances and corners but couldn't make them count before ultimately losing 4-0 away to East Galway United in their U17 Cup encounter.
