Congrats to our U18B squad who won League Division 2 after winning their final three games in little over a week. Striker Ciagan Davoren was the hatrick hero in a 3-2 away win over Oughterard last Sunday week. This was followed by a midweek 6-2 win over Colga B in Clarinbridge. Matthew Faherty got two with Ciagan Davoren, Cian Geoghegan, Cian Irwin and Shane Touhy also on the scoresheet for United. In their final game on Sunday, Craughwell fell behind twice but two goals from Shane Touhy and one from Matthew Faherty sealed the league title for the Craughwell lads. Well done to coaches Mark Faherty, Stan Irwin and all the players and a big thank you to GFA Chairman Tom Trill for being on hand to present the cup and medals.
