The Craughwell United U16 boys were 6-2 winners over Moyne Villa B last Sunday at Coleman Park. Lewis Ryan bagged a hatrick while Ross Whelton, Emmet Keane and Conor Hynes were also on the scoresheet.

On a busy Saturday, the U14A boys dropped their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw away to Renmore. Jamie Lyons and Daire Crowe had put United two goals ahead at the interval but the city side responded well in the second half to score twice and share the spoils. The U14B boys lost at home to a very strong Tuam Celtic B side while the U12A boys had a fine 1-0 win away to Knocknacarra B. The U12B boys lost 5-1 at home to Colga B but the U12C boys (pictured) were too strong for Bearna na Forbacha C at Coleman Park in recording their second league win.  Matthew Cloonan scored a hatrick, Gavin Clarke netted twice while Jack Donoghue, Jason Greaney and Jamie Noone added further goals for Craughwell.

Elsewhere, the Galway U13 league defeated their Athlone counterparts 5-1 in Eamon Deacy Park last Sunday with two Craughwell players Conor Gilligan and Alan Zimmerer featuring for Galway. Craughwell's Jamie Collins is also part of the representative squad.
