The U14 boys bowed out of the Connacht Cup in round three with a 4-2 home defeat to Abbey Rovers of Leitrim last Saturday. Tomas Barlow put in an impressive display and scored both United goals on the day. The U12 boys were also out of luck in losing 6-3 away to Hodson Bay, Athlone after extra time in round two of the Connacht Shield. Having gone two down, Craughwell eventually fought back to 3-3 at the end of normal time thanks to goals from Daniel Galvin, Fiachra Bond and Senan Keane. However, the home side proved stronger in extra time to score three goals and seal the win.

On Sunday, the U12 girls Navy squad lost 5-0 away to Colga while the U12 girls Blue squad had a creditable 3-3 draw away to Salthill Devon B. Also on Sunday, the U12C boys put in a great performance to defeat league leaders Kinvara United 3-2 at Coleman Park while later that afternoon the U16 boys lost narrowly 2-1 to table toppers West Coast United. Joe Jackson scored the United goal in a thoroughly entertaining game.
