Craughwell players in SFAI U-12 InterLeague National Final   20/05/2016

This weekend sees the SFAI U-12 InterLeague National Final take place in Cahir Park in Tipperary. Facing DDSL in the final is a Galway team in red hot form looking to claim glory.

The management team of Barry McGann & Gerry Martin have brought together an exciting young team capable of solid defending and creative attacking play. In reaching the final, they have scored 14 goals and have conceded only once.

Their road to the final began with a provincial group stage competition against Mayo, Longford, and Athlone. 3 wins from 3 saw Galway top the group and qualify for the semi-final. It was here that they faced an impressive Limerick District side at Mervue but with home advantage on their side, Galway scored three first half goals which was enough to see off their opponents.

The final takes place this Saturday in Cahir Park with Kick-Off at 3pm. All support is welcome and greatly encouraged for the future stars of Galway Soccer.
