Last Saturday, the U12A boys were 3-1 winners away to Colga which keeps them at the summit of the Championship table with three league games remaining. Darragh McCartin scored twice with Kieran O Connor netting the other. 

Elsewhere on Saturday, the U14 boys lost 4-3 away to Tuam Celtic with the United goals coming from Ross Whelton, Ryan Gallagher (pictured) and Sean Connaughton while the Junior men’s side went down 4-1 away to Colemanstown United B.

On Sunday, the U18 boys were always competitive against Moyne Villa in their Premier League clash in Headford but the home side took their chances clinically to run out 5-0 winners in the end. The U12 girls were also out of luck, losing 4-1 away to Kiltullagh.

Well done to Marty Callanan who won last weekend’s 50-50 Draw in Cawleys. Next draw in Cheevers this Saturday night with envelopes on sale in all the usual outlets.

Craughwell United will host their Easter Soccer Camp this Monday 28 March until Friday 1 April from 10am to 2pm each day at the Craughwell National School astro pitch. All boys and girls from 7 to 13 years are welcome. Camp is €40 for club members and €50 for non members. €10 discount for second child.
